I’m a writer. It’s just what I do. I did go to college for it. And graduated, earning my degree, etc. I did attempt a free lance career as a writer. Mostly newspapers, local stuff. But I ended up not enjoying it as much when I wrote for pay. So now I have a job that has nothing to do with writing. And I just write for me. And, well, all of you reading this now. Obviously.

The title of this blog (anywhere the wind blows) means a lot of things. To me, it used to be a title of a song. A song that a friend of mine sang in a movie, a few years or so ago. Over the years I must’ve listened to that audio clip hundreds of times. Usually not by choice. Ha. At some point though, not sure when, the lyrics became my story. My own personal theme. My life was turned upside down. I had to start all over. And anywhere the wind was blowing….I’d soon follow.

I’ve learned that life in general can be scary. But each day brings something different. Something new. Accept the new things in YOUR world, whether its new friends, new music, new books….new directions in general. Open your eyes to what’s out there, don’t be afraid of change. You might find your next great passion, you never know!

This blog will feature anything and everything.  My life perspectives, my past and present reflections, my thoughts on who you should be watching, reading, or listening to, etc. You might not always enjoy what I have to say. But I promise you…..it’ll at least be something new. A new place, an empty suitcase. Anywhere the wind blows. We’ll go….
